What if... DRAGON'S CROWN

Recently a friend bring to my attention this new game released by Vanillaware, the Dragon's Crown.

This fantastic game created by George Kamitani certainly draw the eye for those who love 2D games and art... plus needless to say I'm a big fan of side scrolling beat'n ups with a RPG touch like his previous work Odin's Sphere.

There's some polemics and critics around about this game because of the exaggerated and sexualised character designs. Dragon's Crown has a very unique art style with different designs. Everyone has their opinion on the art style of course. Well I think it fits with the genre of swords and sorcery and for what it's worth, I like this game aesthetic.

In particular for me and concerning Mugen, the lovely Amazon Warrior character with her comically massive thighs will be used as reference for the She-Hulk char I've been working so far. heh. :)

Wondering why there is a lack of news?

Needles to say... a lot busy with RL stuff happening lately,

but did find some time to finish this Somersault Kick for She-Hulk (sprites and code).

I don't like giving percentage to my wips cause always having new ideas to add or changing something that i don't think it's good yet... but She-Hulk wip progress are currently at 55%.

On this preview gif there's also Wonder Woman with the INJUSTICE costume.

That's the new Wondy  update in development. 

(a 3rd strike? yes... lol)

She'll have some new moves (with sword and shield like in New52 comics and Injustice) and a major revision on gameplay and sprites with new look and features. More on this later...

For now I'll post here a preview of her Smartpal  I've been doing that allow different costumes resembling many comic book appearances. A few examples below:

GAMMA VERSIONS

Some people keep asking me about She-Hulk progress and like I said she's on development yet.

I  also added some nice features to her like the new smart palette that will demand more time for the char conclusion and updated her look in a few frames to something less bodybuilder shape... I'm aiming for something between Pelettier, Cho and Byrne.

 With this applied... versions like the Future Foundation and Fantastic Four are possible.
